Story Nana!
We are so lucky to have Story Nana come into our school! We are reading lots of lovely Christmas stories to get us in the Christmas spirit!!
How to plant cress seeds.
Get cotton wool, cress seeds, pots and water.
Put cotton wool in a container.
Put the cress seeds on top of the cotton wool.
Add some water to the cress seeds.
Put them in the window where they will get sunlight
Watch them grow!
Healthy Breakfast morning
We had a great morning tasting lots of different foods we could eat for breakfast. We tasted porridge, lots of different cereals, granola and yogurts. We tasted a great selection of bread- wholemeal bread, toast, bagels, and pancakes. The fruit was so delicious- blueberries, grapes, pineapple, oranges, apples, bananas, strawberries. We also tried some juices and smoothies. It was delicious! We learned how important it is to eat breakfast every morning so we can work hard and concentrate in school!

Aistear
Our theme for Aistear this month is all about Jack and the Beanstalk and growth.
We are building in the construction area!
Our letter of the week is h, We are making handprints.
Counting animals and making cakes in the sand
The kitchen is always very busy! Sometimes we have to go to the shop to buy food!
The builders get a well deserved tea-break
Acts of Kindness
Some girls from the older classes are making a display for the notice board about acts of kindness. We had to think of ways we are kind to each other in Room 4.
We came up with many ways to be kind.
We help each other. If somebody finds it hard to put on their coat, we make sure to help them
If someone is sad, we ask them if they are ok!
We always share in Room 4.
If we do something wrong, we say sorry
Our Bedtime Story evening
We had a lovely evening at our bedtime stories. Room 4 were so excited to wear their pyjamas to school. We even got some hot chocolate!!!We love to read in Room 4!

Our Nature Walk
Room 4 went on a nature walk outside today to the Horse Chestnut tree.
